When I married the man of my dreams, we had the same thoughts, visions, aspirations. We had fire for each other, and we went to church. We went to church, and we prayed at dinner. We were the same. Then I started to grow and God started working in me beyond just going to church and living by His rules. He started to show me why I wanted to live with His morals. That it was more than just a culture, but it was my lifeblood. I grew, and my loving, wonderful, supportive husband did not. He doesn’t get where I’m at, but I know that God is using me as a witness to him.
Never marry to convert your husband…but what to do when you give your whole life up to God after the fact? It’s hard! But God is supporting you. He’s still using you. However, you have a major adversary. The enemy wants you to fail. To get caught up in stress and worry, especially when God is pressing down on both of you to draw you closer to Him. My mission is to have grace under His fire, to come out more refined than ever before. It can be done. This is my journey.
I pray this blog will bless you. Pray for times when I can’t blog. It’s a “secret mission.” You won’t know my name yet. But, one day my husband will get to see where God took me when we are once again equally yoked.
